Starting trying to clean this up but it is a hopeless WP:COATRACK that was (and still is) full of WP:SYN, POV claims, badly sourced/unsouroced content.. Better (more neutrally, better sourced) covered at the subtopics like Concentrated animal feeding operation and Intensive animal farming etc. The lower part of the article is full of dire WP:CRYSTALBALL stuff about what the Trump administration might do.

Would have to be almost completely rewritten to make this is a WP article. Jytdog (talk) 00:32, 12 April 2017 (UTC)

• Comment: This appears to be another student article, in a course, which I saw mentioned at ANI (although I don't think there is any real problem with it being a student article). ANI discussion not yet archived, is at wp:ANI#POV forks being created as school project. These articles should not be given any different consideration, it was suggested, but I think it helps to understand where they're coming from. See also:

• Merge/redirect to Concentrated animal feeding operation. The article has now been moved to Impacts of concentrated animal feeding operations, but Concentrated animal feeding operation already has "environmental impact" and "economic impact" sections. I'm not convinced of the need of a spin-off article at this stage. StAnselm (talk) 00:02, 18 April 2017 (UTC)

• Keep or at worst merge/redirect to Concentrated animal feeding operation or Environmental impact of agriculture or Environmental impact of meat production. Could certainly use a little streamlining, but the central statements are important and do not appear to be covered elsewhere. -- Kku (talk) 13:56, 20 April 2017 (UTC)

• Delete. The Wordsmith summarized it well. Other articles already cover this topic to the point a merge would not provide new information, and a redirect wouldn't be useful because a redirect to a single article isn't justified over the others covering this topic, nor is it likely something that will be directly searched.
