This is an essay written for a course, a content fork of Evolutionary psychology and Cognition; it's been abandoned since the end of the course. WP:MOS is observed more in breach than observation. Lack of online sources limits the number of potential contributors to those with physical access the a research library. Conceivably an article could be written on this topic (and I have nothing against the topic per se), but it would be less work to start over.
