delete. It should be "gorgon euryale" in case anyone is having problems searching, referring to Euryale ferox. So not a hoax, and a plausible type of food, but I can find no indication it’s independently notable of the description in Euryale ferox.--JohnBlackburne^words_deeds 23:59, 20 December 2016 (UTC)

Comment I don't know Chinese, but going by the [https://www.google.com/search?q=%22芡实糕%22 Google search results] for the Chinese name, this seems to be quite popular. I'm veering towards moving this article to Gorgon cake and keeping it, but I'll wait for someone with knowledge of Mandarin to comment. utcursch | talk 16:35, 21 December 2016 (UTC)
