Reaching the top 10 in Japan certainly helps, and it got some American media coverage too (e.g. [https://www.loudersound.com/news/queen-announce-greatest-hits-in-japan-collection]). But otherwise it remains pretty obscure, unless anyone can come up with more reliable Japanese media coverage. (If it is entirely in Japanese, most of us here would be unable to search for it.)
