The result was redirect to List of Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross recipients (Ba–Bm). Overall consensus is to Redirect, If anyone wants to merge I have no objections (non-admin closure) –Davey2010Talk 23:25, 7 October 2016 (UTC)

An unremarkable German Luftwaffe captain of World War II; significant RS coverage [https://www.google.com/search?q=%22Karl-Heinz+Baader%22&oq=%22Karl-Heinz+Baader%22&aqs=chrome..69i57j0.1414j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#tbm=bks&q=%22Heinz+Baader%22+luftwaffe cannot be found]. The passing claim of notability is the award of the Knight's Cross in April of 1945. This can be confirmed via a book by Veit Scherzer (1-line listing), but this is insufficient to overcome WP:BIO1E and lack of sources. WP:SOLDIER, an essay by Project Military History, has been recently modified and the award of the Knight's Cross is currently not considered sufficient for criterion #1 (highest award for military valour). - Redirect: the award seems verified, but there doesn't seem to be enough coverage to warrant a stand alone article, which is the point of what is outlined in WP:SOLDIER. As such, a redirect to the parent list (List of Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross recipients (Ba–Bm)) seems warranted. Regards, AustralianRupert (talk) 02:01, 2 October 2016 (UTC)
- Redirect to List of Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross recipients (Ba–Bm). As a verified KC recipient it seems likely to be a valid search term, even if the subject currently lacks the coverage req'd to justify his own article. Anotherclown (talk) 04:01, 2 October 2016 (UTC)
- Redirect per Australian. Iazyges Consermonor Opus meum 22:34, 4 October 2016 (UTC)
- Redirect to List of Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross recipients (Ba–Bm) Unless there is significant coverage to write and article per WP:WHYN, KC doesn't make a soldier automatically notable. A redirect is appropriate here. --Lemongirl942 (talk) 06:31, 5 October 2016 (UTC)
