Fails WP:GNG and prong 5 of WP:SPORTBASIC. Article has for 11 years remained as a sub-stub unsupported by any SIGCOV, and my searches failed to find any. A redirect to List of players who appeared in only one game in the NFL (1920–1929)#1924 is a reasonable alternative to deletion IMO. Cbl62 (talk) 20:02, 21 November 2022 (UTC)

  • I think its likely that Clow has a bio in the offline Leatherheads of the North: The True Story of Ernie Nevers & the Duluth Eskimos. Also, what's interesting about Clow is that he was only five foot four, which makes him tied for fourth-shortest NFL player ever ([https://www.newspapers.com/image/193866175/?terms=herb%20clow&match=1]).   • His height is interesting trivia, but it's not SIGCOV. What makes you believe that there would likely be a bio of a one-game player in the Leatherheads book? Cbl62 (talk) 21:12, 22 November 2022 (UTC)
  • There's been several books about defunct NFL teams advertised in the Pro Football Researchers Magazine (I own some of their editions), and in each of those books I've had access to, all of the players had biographies. BeanieFan11 (talk) 21:18, 22 November 2022 (UTC)
  • The article has persisted as a SIGCOV-less sub-stub for 11 years. If and when somebody cares enough to do the work, and if it turns out that your speculation is correct, the article could be revived at that time. However, at this time, there is a complete, total, and absolute failure of WP:SPORTBASIC and the article should be either redirected or deleted. Personally, I favor redirect.
