:({{Find sources AFD|Michael Hunt}})

I tagged this for speedy deletion as A7 yesterday (after another user tagged it with a BLPPROD), but I removed both after sources were added to the article. However, of the seven links provided, two are YouTube videos, another link is another video, and of the other four sources provided, only one mentions Hunt (and it's not even a news report, but a podcast of some sort), the remaining three are about his group The UCLA Jerk Kings, and interestingly those three ←links do not mention him at all. A search was also inconclusive, with many false positives for either "HitTown" or "Michael Hunt". The coverage suggests notability for his group (which right now doesn't seem to have an article), but not for Hunt; I'm not opposed to the titlee being redirected to such an article if it was created.

Interestingly, there's a fictional DJ in the Grand Theft Auto series named Michael Hunt. He is the DJ of the in-game radio station Head Radio in Grand Theft Auto III and Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories. Keep that in mind when trying to look for sources for this person. There also appears to be a murder suspect with the same name, so expect to see false positives when looking for sources. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 23:38, 28 June 2015 (UTC)

  • Comment-also this article was deleted yesterday and was created by another person. Wgolf (talk) 00:56, 29 June 2015 (UTC)

:With my comment I think for now I'm leaning towards delete-for not notable. Wgolf (talk) 00:57, 29 June 2015 (UTC)

  • Comment- I understand some of the points "Narutolovehinata5" is making, but I think with the two articles on NY Times and LA Times that include "UCLA Jerk Kings" sums up as a good source to the wiki article for Hunt. Like sure it doesn't state his name directly but you can't expect his name to just be singled out when he's in a group. For example the people who do know and are familiar with Hunt and the 4 others in the group, would instantly be amazed that they made it on such a popular article as individuals even though it says the groups name. Personally I think it checks out completely. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Easygoing3 (talkcontribs) 01:36, 29 June 2015 (UTC)

::It seems possible that the UCLA Jerk Kings may be notable, but Hunt is not independently notable from them, for precisely what the creator mentioned above: the sources do not discuss Hunt but rather his group, and no coverage about Hunt himself can be provided so far. • Delete Nothing about Hunt makes him notable. The UCLA Jerk Kings may be notable, but that does not give their members default notability.John Pack Lambert (talk) 17:10, 13 July 2015 (UTC)
  • Delete Although he describes himself (he wrote the article) as a "recording artist and songwriter" most of his credits are actually for background dancing. He seems like he has potential notability, depending on his career, but at 22 years old, he fails WP:GNG. Liz Read! Talk! 23:28, 18 July 2015 (UTC)
