::::The sources you added contradict the unsourced (most likely OR) start date of the offensive you inserted (6 October). Instead they give a totally different start date (15 October). And a lack of subsequent sources on an offensive in Homs province (for more than three weeks since than) suggests it was only a one-day operation and making it highly non-notable to warrant its own article. • Keep This appears to be plenty notable, but reporting is minimal due to the whole 'warzone' thing. Series of airstrikes, multiple settlements changing hands, fighting ongoing as of today, significant deathtoll. • Comment, I've just been looking more into this, there's very little reporting in western media, but there are actually plenty of sources, they're just biased (ofc pretty much all sources are biased, but wiki accepts the bbc but not, for eg, http://sputniknews.com/middleeast/20151118/1030341421/syrian-army-advances-near-palmyra.html or http://aranews.net/2015/11/leishmaniasis-breaks-out-among-syrian-army-forces-near-palmyra/ Nevertheless, evidence for notability & ongoingness of this offensive/operation/frontline/advance/whatever, is ample. 92.25.136.209 (talk) 16:22, 22 November 2015 (UTC)
