As far as I can see, there's no such breed, and certainly none reported to DAD-IS; hircus is the sub-specific name of the domestic goat. This is either a scam or hoax, or a bizarre attempt to publicise cashmere products from Italian companies such as Loro Piana and Filatura Di Crosa which claim to obtain the wool of this animal. - Delete - "Hyrcus" is the Latin name for goat. I see no indication that the term refers to any breed specifically. Neelix (talk) 15:20, 26 June 2014 (UTC)
