• Delete and move Interim (disambiguation) to the namespace (per WP:DABNAME). The previous AfD was primarily arguing that interim had value as a DAB page, which now exits as a separate article. The article on what's supposed to be the primary topic still fails WP:NOTDIC. Qwaiiplayer (talk) 14:15, 7 January 2022 (UTC)

You can't replace this by pointing people to [https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/interim the dictionary definition], because that's an an entirely different thing. Dictionaries are concerned with pronounciation, etymology, similar words, what part of speech a word is, what its different meanings are, what the word means in various languages, and some bare examples of use. When to apply WP:NOTDICTIONARY at the margins is a matter of interpretation and opinion. In the case of disagreement, we should default to not destroying existing otherwise-good material. So I'm not finding the dicdef argument persuasive.

:But, the point that it should just point to the disambiguation page is reasonable. It's reasonable mainly because the current state of the article is unref'd, and reffing it would possible but hard and not likely to actually happen at it reads like someone just decided to write it. This article does lay out various aspects of the word in more depth than a disambig page can, which is good I guess, and there's a hatnote at top pointing to the disambig page, when granted is an extra step for readers wanting to find interim management etc... so, not sure on that point. (NB, thinking about this some... I made a big change, big expansion too, to Interim (disambiguation). By all means anyone can roll this back if they like!
