Tagged for notability for many years. It doesn't seem like a rare breed which is unrecognised by the national breeding association would be notable and I'm not seeing much which would be considered independent RS to add. As an ATD there is List of chicken breeds but that just has breed names so it isn't obvious that there would be anything to merge or much point in a redirect. JMWt (talk) 12:24, 28 May 2025 (UTC)

• Strong Keep I didn't create this article but I have improved it some over the years and believe it to be notable. Similar to WP:SPECIES, distinct breeds of livestock and poultry are generally considered notable. To improve the verifiability, I added several sources including more books, magazines, and a review of chicken breeds by Cornell University, one of the best agricultural and life sciences schools in the world. Occassionaly there are breed articles that are fake or so obscure that they can't be reasonably sourced, but this is not one of them at all. Steven Walling • talk 05:41, 2 June 2025 (UTC)
