The result was soft delete__EXPECTED_UNCONNECTED_PAGE__. Based on minimal participation, this uncontroversial nomination is treated as an expired PROD (a.k.a. "soft deletion"). Non-notable "online only" medical reference work. Fails WP:NWEB, WP:NBOOK, WP:TEXTBOOKS and WP:GNG. The only sources available are the ones found in the article. Being either:
- primary sources (websites associated with the book/publisher),
- the same trivial mentions used to support the limited text we have (like this passing mention in [https://www.irishtimes.com/news/health/in-short-1.934478 the Irish Times] and this [https://www.hse.ie/eng/services/list/2/gp/antibiotic-prescribing/conditions-and-treatments/urinary/uti-in-children/uti-in-children.html trivial mention on the HSE website]), or
- catalogue/directory entries which confirm that the publication exists and its scope (like [https://web.archive.org/web/20210917075812/https://libguides.itcarlow.ie/c.php?g=677187&p=4825197 IT Carlow library directory which lists the subject alongside other pharmaceutical Science Databases]).
In honesty, it was I who found/added almost all of these sources. As part of an attempt to apply good faith principles (in the face of accusations of "[https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Irish_Medicines_Formulary&diff=prev&oldid=1033414126 bias]" and all sorts by a COI editor) while trying to WP:RESCUE the article. I realise now that this was a mistake on my part. And that I should have just raised an AfD discussion (on WP:NN and WP:PROMO grounds) years ago. I'm correcting that oversight now. Not least as there still aren't enough sources to establish even the basic facts (as evidenced by [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Irish_Medicines_Formulary&diff=1271534811&oldid=1271533304 the reliance on OR/COI/BIT edits to support even basic changes]).... Delete - useful isn’t the same as notable and refs are very thin Brammarb (talk) 22:06, 24 January 2025 (UTC)
