Needs attention from a Russian-speaking editor who's familiar enough with the field to either expand the article or make a notability call. Potential damage from keeping the article, virtually nil; potential damage from deleting the article, substantial enough. What's the hurry? • Comment The assumption is that articles about Russian topics with an brief page in the English Wikipedia but an extensive page in the Russian Wikipedia (or similarly with other language Wikipedias) will have made a reasonable case for inclusion in an encyclopedia. This is of course not always the case , any more than it is in the english Wikipedia, but it is a reason for looking carefully. Very frequently it happens that people translate only a small portion of an article into a Wikipedia , and the small portion does not indicate the notability. Checking all the Russian pages. though, one thing i have not yet been able to find is a bibliography of his papers. DGG ( talk ) 02:58, 17 August 2009 (UTC)
