• Comment: Here's a Swiss newspaper archive of the person's name [https://www.e-newspaperarchives.ch/?a=q&hs=1&r=1&results=1&txf=txIN&txq=Isidor+Bieri&e=-------en-20--1--img-txIN--------0-----], most are in German which I can't understand. The few French ones there mention an electrician from Lucerne, not sure if it's this person or not. Oaktree b (talk) 15:42, 25 June 2025 (UTC)
• Delete: I don't see anything about this person, no News or GScholar, Jstor or GBooks articles/publications. Delete unless we can find something at length about the athlete. • Redirect. I've gone through the newspaper archive results, there's no sigcov. The articles confirm that he went to the Olympics, and also that he was elected to the "honor guard" (I'm guessing this is like a Hall of Fame) of the Innerschweizer Schwingerverband and won a national championship in Greco-Roman wrestling in 1929. • Redirect to Wrestling at the 1928 Summer Olympics – Men's Greco-Roman featherweight: He's not mentioned at Switzerland at the 1928 Summer Olympics or Wrestling at the 1928 Summer Olympics. If someone expands the section at Switzerland at the 1928 Summer Olympics#Wrestling, then it would make more sense to redirect there. However, in its current state, I don't think it makes sense.
