  • Weak delete. Galan doesn't appear to be particularly notable. At least as of 2007, he was simply a graduate student at Purdue[http://www.chem.purdue.edu/NewsFeed/newsstory.asp?itemID=209] so most of these papers are not primarily his work. JulesH (talk) 15:56, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

  • Delete. Judging by the [http://scholar.google.com/scholar?hl=en&lr=&q=author%3Ajacob-galan Google scholar results], it's too early in his career for his publications to have had much impact yet. Doesn't seem to pass WP:PROF. And if there are WP:BLP concerns, that adds to the reasons for deleting. —David Eppstein (talk) 19:15, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
  • Delete Not notable by standards. I am curious what is incorrect though, as it appears the starter of this Afd added all of the information. §hepTalk 00:02, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
  • Delete. Agree with JulesH and David Eppstein. Could not find enough to establish notability under WP:PROF. Does not seem to pass WP:BIO either.--Eric Yurken (talk) 00:20, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
  • Speedy Delete per CSD G7: the originator of the article, who is requesting removal, is the only editor to add new information (others have done maintenance work). Baileypalblue (talk) 00:26, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
