Not notable with only local souces. He ran in a primary for a minor political position and dint event win. There are hordes of such "politicians" in the world which doesnt indicate his notability. Further, the aticle deals with his biz primarily and thats les notable. Lihaas (talk) 11:31, 15 September 2012 (UTC)

  • Keep as a CEO and company (fails as a politician since he isn't one). I recognize that this is a minor person but I think he passes. By the WP:Politician criteria, he fails but he is NOT a politician any more than Jimbo Wales' article fails under WP:Politician. He passes under the WP:N and he was a CEO of a fairly large company. It is true that there is no strict criteria for CEO's (perhaps there should be a size criteria) unlike WP having a strict criteria for actors and porn stars. This shows a flaw in WP where movies and porn is more important and read more than business. I will study the criteria and get back, though. In the mean time, keep is preferred. ::I looked it up and Brunner's company had sales of almost half a billion dollars per year (476M). That is reasonably large. There are also a number of articles mentioning him. The disadvantage of a redirect is that expanding the article about his company, something that is worthwhile, would be completely out of place in the election article. Auchansa (talk) 03:23, 17 September 2012 (UTC)

::* Comment As things stand, there is no article for the company (Vi-Jon Inc.) and any argument for notability based on company turnover would be for appropriateness of an article about the firm rather than its former CEO? (From 1978 in the article but 1992-2009 in the main article source.) AllyD (talk) 18:54, 17 September 2012 (UTC)

  • Delete if not significant enough for political mention or redirect. There are no significant mentions outside of political framing, does not pass WP:GNG. heather walls (talk) 19:34, 17 September 2012 (UTC)
