Keep. Clear pass of WP:PROF #5. The two obituaries I just added provide plenty of material for assessing his academic impact (WP:PROF #1), for expanding the article, and for a pass of WP:BIO more generally. —David Eppstein (talk) 07:08, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
