He is a draft pick who hasn't even played in the minor leagues yet. Being drafted in the first round doesn't make him inherently notable. Perhaps he should be placed in his team's minor league players page, based on the assumption that he will soon be playing in the minors. Alex (talk) 01:24, 6 February 2011 (UTC)

Merge to Tampa Bay Rays minor league players. Maybe we should create protect the top prospects of the 2011 draft to prevent a bunch of new pages for non-notable individuals. --Muboshgu (talk) 04:22, 9 February 2011 (UTC)
