• Keep: Coupled with the source in the article, I found some reliable ones online ([https://www.thehindu.com/news/cities/Delhi/kanchan-gupta-appointed-chair-of-raja-rammohun-roy-library-foundation/article28752660.ece here] (this one is the most reliable), [https://www.indiantelevision.com/regulators/ib-ministry/mib-appoints-former-journalist-kanchan-gupta-as-senior-adviser-210612 here], and [https://www.exchange4media.com/announcements-news/ministry-of-information-broadcasting-appoints-journalist-kanchan-gupta-as-sr-advisor-113522.html here]) which is therefore enough to establish WP:NBIO. • Delete as fails WP:GNG. All three sources mentioned by {{u|Cocobb8}} are just about Gupta's appointment as "the chairperson of the Raja Rammohun Roy Library Foundation" only. The Hindu, though notable media, wrote only "A senior journalist, Mr. Gupta was associated with the first NDA government, having worked in the PMO of Atal Bihari Vajpayee.", as addition to the announcement which is not enough for WP:NBIO.
