Living person lacks extensive 3rd party reliable sources to establish notability. Wlmg (talk) 03:46, 17 June 2014 (UTC)

  • Keep. As I wrote when deprodding this, "The [http://scholar.google.com/citations?user=WuOsGfsAAAAJ&hl=en&oi=ao citation record] looks like a pass of WP:PROF#C1 to me." As in, Google scholar lists some 3800 sources, most of them probably reliable and independent, and most likely a smaller but large enough number of them with some in-depth coverage of his work. It's a bit early — usually someone who is a full professor at a good university will pass WP:PROF and he's only associate — but I don't think that's a big concern. (For instance, part of the reason I can be skeptical of the notability of early-career scientists with big citations is that it's hard to disentangle their contributions from those of their mentors, but in this case that's not an issue, as his top-cited paper is singly-authored.) —David Eppstein (talk) 04:13, 17 June 2014 (UTC)

  • Keep. Easy pass of WP:Prof#C1 in high cited field. Xxanthippe (talk) 05:14, 17 June 2014 (UTC).
  • Keep. The person has good publications but lacks independent reliable sources. Person has received significance in IEEE conferences. Let it pass as per WP:ANYBIO and generally WP:BASIC. A.Minkowiski _Lets t@lk 05:45, 17 June 2014 (UTC)
