Prod tag removed without explanation as usual. Literally none of this article or its references is about the Inn itself, and I can't find sources attesting to notability. A self-appellation of "historic" doesn't doesn't go that far in the UK... Reywas92Talk 20:07, 17 September 2019 (UTC)

  • Delete Nothing in the article indicates it is notable for anything other than the fact that it exists near certain locations and it is not a [https://www.historicenvironment.scot/advice-and-support/listing-scheduling-and-designations/listed-buildings/search-for-a-listed-building/ listed building]. • Delete I only found mentions in restaurant listings etc, nothing to indicate any historical significance. There were claims it was up to 200 years old, which isn't very old for a coaching inn.----Pontificalibus 06:11, 18 September 2019 (UTC)

  • Delete Unless I am missing something there is nothing in the article to indicate that the Inn has any claim to notability other than its age which as User:Pontificalibus is not actually that great. Indeed much of the article is about the route it is on and what is nearby rather than the Inn itself. Dunarc (talk) 22:49, 18 September 2019 (UTC)

  • Delete. There is nothing in the article to suggest any significance to this inn, and most of the details are only of peripheral relevance to the inn. (I placed the original "prod" tag that was removed.) --94.196.164.61 (talk) 16:32, 19 September 2019 (UTC)
  • Delete. An earl and a marquess once might have slept there. Not even Washington or the Queen? Bearian (talk) 21:18, 19 September 2019 (UTC)
  • Merge briefly to the article on the road. Note that this was a drovers road not a carriage road. The army would have passed on foot or horseback, not with carriages. The outcome should be similar to that for Gillybrands. Peterkingiron (talk) 17:58, 22 September 2019 (UTC)
