The result was redirect to List of shipbuilders and shipyards. Clear consensus to redirect. In addition, the suggestion that List of shipbuilders and shipyards be turned into a table, live-sortable by various columns, seems like a good idea. Citing WP:NOTINDISCRIMINATE and WP:OR, this is a broad, noninclusive, shoddily-detailed, poorly-cited, low-quality article. I previously [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=List_of_largest_shipyards_in_history&oldid=841158538 proposed the article for deletion], which the page creator [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=List_of_largest_shipyards_in_history&direction=next&oldid=841158538 abruptly reverted]- I subsequently showed good faith by not pressing the issue further, with the caveat that the page would be enhanced. Unfortunately, this has only been complied with by a [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=List_of_largest_shipyards_in_history&diff=841237455&oldid=841226537 grain of salt's extent]. This list has been around for eleven months, without any effort improve- nor clarification for its purpose- displayed. Therefore, I'm now nominating this list for deletion. - Redirect -- There is no clear criterion for what is (and is not) included. The target List of shipbuilders and shipyards would be better being converted to a table in which dates of operation could be added, along with data on the number of shops built.
