• Delete While some of his actions make me want to believe he had major impact on his community, and I find his ministry to prisoners and other similar efforts laudable, we lack the indepdent, relialbe sources about him to actually show notability. I will be the first to say self-serving and corrupt politicians too easily gain coverage and good people like Mascarenhas get too little. However the job of Wikipedia is not to right wrongs, or set up a more just society, but to reflect reliable source scholarship. So until such scholars create adequate coverage of Mascarenhas we lack the needed sources to verify an article on him.John Pack Lambert (talk) 06:21, 27 December 2017 (UTC)
