Only indication of importance is winning awards for best blues band, but does not state which awards, or even which band he was in at the time. God Emperor (talk) 20:33, 25 March 2009 (UTC)

  • Keep. Yes, the article needs lots of work, but notability appears to exist. In addition to the allmusic entry (and the professional reviews of two of his albums there), [http://news.google.com/archivesearch?um=1&ned=us&hl=en&q=%22Lynwood+Slim%22+-wikipedia&cf=all gnews search] gives 111 hits, a number of which look like more than passing mentions.--Fabrictramp | talk to me 17:01, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
  • Keep. Lynwood Slim is a veteran musician with career of well over 30 years. He's released number of albums of his own, and has played with notable musicians such as Cesar Rosas (of Los Lobos), Big Walter Horton, Junior Watson, Eddie Vinson, Kid Ramos (ex-Fabulous Thunderbirds), among many others. Definitely notable enough to have an article here. Actually, I was thinking about creating one. --Sumori (talk) 15:19, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
  • Keep. Article needs a fair bit of work, providing suitable references etc, but these do seem to be out there - quite a few reviews and live reviews, quite a few associations with other notable artists etc. I think it meets notability, but yeah, needs some work.
