The result was delete. There is consensus that there are not sufficient sources in English and that there are likely sufficient sources in Arabic. But because nobody in this discussion reads that language, we only have guesses based on search results and machine translations. That's not sufficient to support a WP:BLP article in terms of required verifiability. The article may be restored if an editor who reads Arabic can identify specific reliable sources covering this actor in depth. Sandstein 06:44, 30 August 2015 (UTC)

I'd like to see where the sourcable "recognition" because my searches found nothing with [https://www.google.com/search?q=Mahmoud+Abdel+Moghny&btnG=Search+Books&tbm=bks&tbo=1 this] being the best results. Delete The sole cited source is user-generated IMDB. Searches of the various Google types, JSTOR, and HighBeam failed to locate any non-trivial coverage in independent reliable sources. The closest thing to a review of the subject's work are two sentences in [http://www.highbeam.com/doc/1G1-232425361.html Daily News Egypt]: "There isn't much to say about the acting either. All performances can be summed up as follows: Abdel Moghny screaming his heart out in every feasible occasion ..."

:He has a role (not necessarily a significant one) in one notable film, El Gezeira. I don't see evidence of multiple significant roles in notable films, at least not yet. Does not meet WP:BASIC or WP:NACTOR. Worldbruce (talk) 02:46, 20 August 2015 (UTC)

Delete: but would point out that IMDb is not really user-generated except in terms of personal info added which nowadays is more strictly monitored. As far as credits, episodes, appearances, it is a reliable source and this fellow is simply insufficiently notable. Quis separabit? 02:15, 29 August 2015 (UTC)
Delete for IMDb as a source, see WP:ELPEREN#IMDb, no assertion of notability in the article, uses a WP:PROMOtional tone, websearches turn up youtube videos, if there WP:MUSTBESOURCES, please show them. Kraxler (talk) 15:02, 29 August 2015 (UTC)
Keep: I think people should pay attention to Wikimandia's recommendation and give a [https://www.google.com/search?q=%22%D9%85%D8%AD%D9%85%D9%88%D8%AF+%D8%B9%D8%A8%D8%AF+%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D8%BA%D9%86%D9%8A%22&tbm=nws Google News] search in Arabic some consideration rather than dismissing subject based on IMDb and the lack of English language sources. I'm yet another editor who does not speak Arabic, and I do not feel comfortable editing the article based on Google Translations. Per WP:BEFORE, if the subject of the article is likely to have more sources in a non-Latin alphabet, you need to at least attempt to search for the subject in that alphabet. Keep - The actor's 'soap opera' work is notable enough to be covered [http://www.albawabhnews.com/1407198&prev=search here] (Also, I find his blue steel male-model-ish stare to be kind of funny in that image), and I can see coverage in other sources such as [http://www.shorouknews.com/news/view.aspx?cdate=21062015&id=f817b908-b0bd-41f6-81fc-b54a8d9663bd here], where it looks like he faced a scare due to plane troubles taking place while filming (I think, might be misreading the translation).
