  • Keep. The Washington Post obituary[http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/08/07/AR2009080703444.html] provides demonstration of notability and also some good material for expanding the article. Is clear that she is notable for more than one thing: the civil rights work and the healthcare campaign. That should preclude a merge. --DanielRigal (talk) 18:03, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
  • Keep I found plenty of references, that could also be used to expand the article. Already the claim that she is an office holder in an organisation with an article means that I removed the speedy delete tag earlier. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 23:00, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
