No indication of notability -- fails WP:ARTIST (Side note: This article was created as a part of this meetup: Wikipedia:Meetup/Regina/ArtAndFeminism 2016/University of Regina. The meetup seems to have produced a lot of articles of questionable quality/notability -- most of them have been deleted or have ongoing AfDs.) IagoQnsi (talk) 17:31, 11 March 2016 (UTC)
- Keep There's a decent number of sources available: obituaries in the LA Times and [http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=9C05E0DF153EF933A25757C0A9639C8B63 New York Times], entry in [http://www.thecanadianencyclopedia.ca/en/article/marilyn-levine/ The Canadian Encyclopedia], book sources: [https://books.google.com/books?id=ReZkAgAAQBAJ&pg=PA2118&dq=Marilyn+Levine&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiXrrK1lrnLAhVH1R4KHTlCBq04ChDoAQgmMAI#v=onepage&q=Marilyn%20Levine&f=false] [https://books.google.com/books?id=4-mVAgAAQBAJ&pg=PA44&dq=Marilyn+Levine&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjRyoehlrnLAhVFGx4KHRZ2C4UQ6AEIPDAG#v=onepage&q=Marilyn%20Levine&f=false] [https://books.google.com/books?id=c2H5YdvHeAUC&pg=PT163&dq=Marilyn+Levine&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiXrrK1lrnLAhVH1R4KHTlCBq04ChDoAQg8MAY#v=onepage&q=Marilyn%20Levine&f=false] [https://books.google.com/books?id=Hfb9Pd9ME8MC&pg=PA180&dq=Marilyn+Levine&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiXrrK1lrnLAhVH1R4KHTlCBq04ChDoAQhGMAg#v=onepage&q=Marilyn%20Levine&f=false] (unfortunately I can't read the full sections about her in those last two). I do believe this is enough to satisfy the general notability guideline. Howicus (Did I mess up?) 17:46, 11 March 2016 (UTC)

- Keep. Is this a joke? A New York Times obituary and an entry in an academic reference work, the Encyclopedia of Saskatchewan produced by the University of Regina. Gamaliel (talk) 15:30, 12 March 2016 (UTC)
- Keep - Passes GNG for sources showing in the footnotes, a New York Times obit and inclusion in the Encyclopedia of Saskatchewan. Carrite (talk) 15:50, 12 March 2016 (UTC)
- Keep The sources are strong and she clearly was a notable sculptor. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 16:51, 12 March 2016 (UTC)

- Comment: Six of the ongoing AfDs referred to in the nomination: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Amber Dalton, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Martha Cole, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Marilyn Levine, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Marsha Kennedy, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Marilyn Levine and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Iris Hauser have been initiated by {{U|IagoQnsi}}. The [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Meetup/Regina/ArtAndFeminism_2016/University_of_Regina event] where an article was created is not in itself a valid criterion for deletion. That articles should be deleted because related articles have been also been nominated for deletion is also not a valid criterion; The AfD procedure for deleting multiple pages does not apply here, and should not be used as an argument. - Comment: I apologize, this AfD was a mistake. I move to keep and quickly close this discussion. -IagoQnsi (talk) 17:33, 12 March 2016 (UTC)
