Borderline (hence it sitting in CAT:NN for 11 years) but she doesn't seem to quite have the level of publication and significance for WP:PROF or the level of post, or to meet WP:GNG. Successful woman, but doesn't pass the threshold of notability. Boleyn (talk) 14:13, 28 June 2020 (UTC)

  • Keep. There appear to be plenty of reviews of her two books for WP:NAUTHOR; here are four: [https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/0891243214563072][https://www.journals.uchicago.edu/doi/abs/10.1086/379573?mobileUi=0&journalCode=ajs][https://www.jstor.org/stable/44807712][https://academic.oup.com/sf/article-abstract/94/4/e105/2461392]. Both books are well-cited, giving some support from WP:NPROF C1. Russ Woodroofe (talk) 14:55, 28 June 2020 (UTC)
  • Keep per reviews identified by Russ Woodroofe. — Toughpigs (talk) 17:47, 28 June 2020 (UTC)
  • Keep - Based on citations, publications, full-professorship, and notable award(s). Re: awards, there are others in addition to what is in the article as per a WP:BEFORE search. Meets meets notability criteria for WP:AUTHOR and WP:GNG and if I'm not mistaken, WP:PROF. Article should be improved rather than deleted. Netherzone (talk) 17:53, 28 June 2020 (UTC) Additional comment: prior to promotion to Professor when she was an Associate Professor of Women and Gender Studies at UC Davis, she was also the Chair of the Designated Emphasis in Feminist Theory and Research there. Also was awarded Best Book award on the Political History of Ethnic and Racial Minorities in the U.S by the Section on Race, Ethnicity, and Politics of the American Political Science Association. Additionally, is/was deputy editor of Gender & Society. [https://sociology.berkeley.edu/maxine-leeds-craig-sorry-i-dont-dance-why-men-refuse-move] Netherzone (talk) 18:01, 28 June 2020 (UTC)
  • Keep per WP:AUTHOR and multiple published reviews each of multiple books. —David Eppstein (talk) 18:44, 28 June 2020 (UTC)
