Article is essentially just a track list that lacks wp:SIGCOV and, I believe, fails notability per wp:NALBUM. Since it does not deserve a stand alone article, I believe it should either be deleted or merged into Emilíana Torrini discography (though that article also has verifiability issues), but I was hoping to get community input. :{{strike|Redirect to Emilíana_Torrini_discography#Studio_albums}}: Found no coverage. Discography page is lacking but unless you're starting an AfD on it now then it's the most appropriate target. QuietHere (talk) 03:24, 10 March 2023 (UTC)

  • Keep Added several sources of significant coverage from the Icelandic media.[https://timarit.is/page/1866701 Um víðan völl] (Morgunblaðið), [https://timarit.is/page/2947022 Emilíana og Hafsveinninn] (Dagblaðið Vísir) and [https://timarit.is/page/2456010 Léttur og mjúkur "marbendill"] (Dagur-Tíminn). It was also the highest selling album in Iceland per [https://timarit.is/page/3348657 this article] in Alþýðublaðið. Alvaldi (talk) 09:48, 10 March 2023 (UTC)
  • : Comment I can't read the sources in Icelandic, but unless they provide in-depth discussion of the album itself, as opposed to it's existence, then I would support @QuietHere's suggestion that it be merged into Emilíana Torrini discography#Studio albums. As I understand it, WP:NALBUM only warrants standalone articles when the have enough info for detailed contentment, rather than just track listings as this seems to be. Perhaps you could comment on the content of the foreign language sources?

  • ::@Lenny Marks The three first sources are discussing the album and the songs in it in detail. The fourth one from Alþýðublaðið is about the top selling albums of 1996 and a sizable chunk of it is about the Merman album. [https://timarit.is/page/3195910 This] article from Helgarpósturinn is a feature of musician Jón Ólafsson who co-produced and co-wrote the album, its mostly interview (i.e. primary) but there is quite a bite of prose there about the album and his involvement in it (the whole lead of the article is almost all about the album). [https://timarit.is/page/2947302 Here] is also another article, title translated to Emilíana's merman from Dagblaðið Vísir that discusses the album. Alvaldi (talk) 22:31, 15 March 2023 (UTC)
  • :::Unfortunately, I do share in Lenny's dilemma of not being able to read Icelandic. However, just from looking at the size of those articles, they do appear to be in depth, and I don't see any reason to doubt that you're correct about their value. Changing vote to keep. QuietHere (talk) 02:37, 16 March 2023 (UTC)
  • :::Thank you @Alvaldi, it seems like these are examples of wp:SIGCOV. It would be good to expand the prose of the article to reflect the coverage, but I will withdraw my nomination. Thanks again for your work, I would not have found Icelandic-language sources myself. -- Lenny Marks (talk) 15:46, 16 March 2023 (UTC)
