There is no "Mount Hadley" in the Rockies, according to the USGS's Geographic Names Information System. There is a Hadley Point in Garfield County, Colorado, and it could be what the article creator was thinking of, but the rest is unverifiable. The article refs don't mention Hadley anything. • Delete as a hoax or a misunderstanding. There is a Hadley Mountain in the Adirondacks but no Mount Hadley in the Rockies. Cullen328 (talk) 18:41, 14 March 2022 (UTC)
• There is a similar no-such-mountain comment on the article talk page dated 2014. Initial revisions of the article named this Mount Fenimore, which makes more sense as "Hadley" doesn't seem to be the name of something named after James Fenimore Cooper, a contradiction that no-one seems to have noticed. But I can find no evidence that Cooper had a mountain named after xem. Even with the original name, this is unverifiable. Uncle G (talk) 02:55, 15 March 2022 (UTC)
• Delete to purge old history and then redirect to Mons Hadley. I can't find verification of anything named "Mount Hadley" in the Rockies except for the Hadley Point mentioned by nom. The Mons Hadley feature on the Moon does seem to be known as Mount Hadley sometimes, though. The current page history is a possible hoax and is worthless. FWIW, I can find no evidence that anything named "Mount Fenimore" has ever existed, despite the early page revisions. Hog Farm _Talk 03:05, 15 March 2022 (UTC)
• Delete: Nice find. Gotta love this history, created as "Mount Fenimore", immediately blanked, then restored as "Mount Hadley" with the same text a minute later. But it had two cites to sources, albeit ones that didn't support this location. Then another editor moves to "Mount Hadley" 3 minutes latter. And so it sits for almost 11 years, almost never noticed - 1,058 page views since July 1, 2015 (which means mostly bot searches at that traffic level), only gets over 10 views a day on a few occasions, probably someone scratching their head each time.--Milowent • ^hasspoken 20:32, 15 March 2022 (UTC)

::I should add, though this one isn't as fun, this could be a case of someone creating a wikipedia article to win an argument, which certainly used to happen a lot more in our earlier years. ::"Mount Fenimore" only gets around 42 Google hits and there is no indication there is a place with that name however note that [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Mount_Hadley&oldid=433019207 original content] was for "Mount Fenimore" it was created at Mount hadley and [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Mount_Hadley&diff=433019712&oldid=433019453 moved] to Mount Hadley 5 minutes later by another uses. • Redirect Googling Mount Hadley and Rocky Mountains only appear to return results for Mons Hadley and the first result for plain Mount Hadley is [https://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/apollo/40th/images/apollo_image_17.html this] for the lunar one and a redirect Mount Hadley (lunar mountain) already exists. Per Hog Farm the history could be deleted as irrelevant to the lunar article. If this is a hoax it can go to Wikipedia:List of hoaxes on Wikipedia. Crouch, Swale (talk) 11:11, 18 March 2022 (UTC)
