Unfortunately, the PROD was removed so I need to come here. The PROD is gone but the article has not improved; in fact, it has become more promotional. My rationale for the tag still stands: notability is not inherited and the subject is only mentioned in primary sources. TheGracefulSlick (talk) 22:31, 15 August 2017 (UTC)
- Delete unless someone can dig up sources to support notability. I was surprised not to find any when I googled, because what I did find were a great many RSs citing the center and/or its director as experts. But the only writeups of the center per se seem to be from USC itself, unfortunately. —GrammarFascist contribstalk 04:24, 16 August 2017 (UTC)

- Comment, there appears to be a lot of info out there in googleland about the NCSCB, a (very!) quick search brings up these - [http://drexel.edu/medicine/News-Events/news-archive/2013/December/National-Center-for-School-Crisis-and-Bereavement-Receives-14-Million-from-the-New-York-Life-Found/ National Center for School Crisis and Bereavement Receives $1.4M from the New York Life Foundation], CBS Denver - [http://denver.cbslocal.com/2012/08/04/aurora-schools-help-community-cope-in-shooting-aftermath/ Aurora Schools Help Community Cope In Shooting Aftermath], American School Counsellor Association lists it [https://www.schoolcounselor.org/school-counselors-members/professional-development/learn-more/helping-kids-during-crisis here (Helping Kids During Crisis)], [https://www.heraldnet.com/opinion/comment-work-with-traumatized-marysville-students-continues/ Comment: Work with traumatized Marysville students continues] from The Daily Herald'' - "Following the Oct. 24, 2014, tragedy, we have been fortunate to remain in close consultation with Dr. David Schonfeld, director of the National Center for School Crisis and Bereavement, as well as ... - Comment - Is there a suitable location where this can be redirected? Coolabahapple brought up some sources that, while failing to talk about the subject at length, may be useful for another article to mention.TheGracefulSlick (talk) 04:58, 16 August 2017 (UTC)

- Redirect to University of Southern California School of Social Work; the Center is attached to the school and does not come across as independently notable. The sources above do not establish sufficient notability. K.e.coffman (talk) 01:15, 29 August 2017 (UTC)
::University of Southern California School of Social Work does not currently mention National Center for School Crisis and Bereavement, so it would be a weird redirect. I suspect (but don't have any data) that the center is just one of many projects at the school, so it would be hard to do a merge without WP:UNDUE issues. I'm not arguing strongly against the redirect, but it doesn't give me much in the way of warm and fuzzy feelings. 17:29, 30 August 2017 (UTC)
:::It is not undue weight if it is the most notable sub-unit. Also, that article may well need reworking if there are lots of other sub-units.John Pack Lambert (talk) 16:29, 4 September 2017 (UTC)

- Rediect to the article on the school of social work that runs this organization and incorporate any well sourced information in a sub-heading there.John Pack Lambert (talk) 16:28, 4 September 2017 (UTC)
