The result was keep. Per the WP:GNG claims made by Rlendog - "doesn't meet GNG" is a bare assertion and is not enough to contest evidence to the contrary. This article may be renominated for deletion if people feel that the sources given are not sufficient. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 15:28, 9 September 2016 (UTC)

- Delete non-notable hockey player.John Pack Lambert (talk) 08:19, 20 August 2016 (UTC)
- Keep - he misses NHOCKEY but he comes close on multiple fronts (he wasn't a 1st round pick, but was a high 2nd rounder; he hasn't played 200 AHL games, but has quickly reached our old standard of 100; he has some awards albeit none that meet NHOCKEY; he played on multiple WJC gold medal teams, which is not an NHOCKEY criterion but is an indication that he is more than a run-of-the-mill player). As a result, I was able to find enough coverage to convince me he meets GNG, e.g., [http://archive.jsonline.com/sports/badgers/nic-kerdiles-dashes-toward-points-streak-record-b99131563z1-230142761.html], [http://www.calisportsnews.com/look-ducks-prospect-nic-kerdiles/], [http://www.thehockeynews.com/articles/48636-Nic-Kerdiles-suspension-raises-NCAA-questions.html], [http://thehockeywriters.com/nic-kerdiles-the-next-ones-2012-nhl-draft-prospect-profile-from-the-beaches-to-the-bigs/], [http://thequad.blogs.nytimes.com/2013/01/14/kerdiles-keeps-commitment-and-powers-wisconsin/], [http://www.latimes.com/sports/sportsnow/la-sp-sn-ducks-nick-ritchie-nic-kerdiles-rookies-20140912-story.html], [http://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/news/2016/mar/03/gulls-nic-kerdiles-shines-in-return-from-injury/]. - Delete non-notable. Doesn't mean NHOCKEY. Is not competitive to make an NHL roster this season, so is not expected to reach the notability requirements soon enough to justify keeping the article. GLG GLG (talk) 07:25, 1 September 2016 (UTC)
- If he meets GNG he meets our notability requirements, even if he doesn't meet NHOCKEY. 13:23, 2 September 2016 (UTC)
- I don't agree he meets GNG either GLG GLG (talk) 05:24, 3 September 2016 (UTC)
