Not yet notable as a politician according to WP:POLITICIAN and WP:NSUBPOL. He's a mayor and former councilmember of a small borough with a population of under 8K, and in a WP:BEFORE search I can only find routine local coverage of his campaign and election. The state commission appointment by the governor also seems to have had only routine local coverage. Having been elected at such an early age, he might well move up to an elected state position eventually, and would then certainly merit an article, but for now it's WP:TOOSOON. • Delete, of course without prejudice against recreation in the future if he moves up the ranks to a more notable position. Smalltown mayors aren't inherently notable just because they exist, but this isn't showing the type of content or the depth of sourcing it would take to make him a special case of greater notability than the norm.
