The result was redirect to The Silmarillion#Of the Rings of Power and the Third Age. The subject is already summarized in the target section, but if there is additional material that editors believe should be merged there, the history is available. RL0919 (talk) 22:46, 23 December 2019 (UTC)

One short chapter from a Tolkien work. We don't often have articles about specific chapters of works unless the chapters themselves gain significant independent coverage outside of the main work itself, like The Scouring of the Shire or Leviticus 18. This chapter does not garner that sort of attention. Hog Farm (talk) 20:01, 16 December 2019 (UTC)

- Merge a small amount of information into The Silmarillion#Of the Rings of Power and the Third Age Three of the other four parts of The Silmarillion redirect to the main article on the book. I see no reason why this one should be given the privilege of having its own article, as there does not appear to be any substantial discussion of this portion of the book. ―Susmuffin Talk 20:37, 16 December 2019 (UTC)

- Merge and redirect to The Silmarillion. Very few books merit articles about their chapters, and no, Tolkien works do not qualify. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 06:11, 17 December 2019 (UTC)
