A hypothetical future event, which has no date. Actually, this article was created back in 2011 and renamed to 2012 because no elections took place. Per WP policy, it should not have a page until the actual event takes place. There is no date set as well, so it remains a hypothetical event.Greyshark09 (talk) 20:27, 11 September 2012 (UTC)

Keep but rename "Next Palestinian general election" as there is no date set. There is no Wikipedia policy that says we can't have articles on future events that are expected to happen and on which there is media coverage, hence why we have things like Next United Kingdom general election (for which there is also no date set). And please stop removing this and Palestinian local elections, 2012 (for which there is a date set) from {{tl|Palestinian elections}}. Number 5 7 08:10, 12 September 2012 (UTC)

Keep Same reason for keeping local elections. Delays are no reason to delete the article. They are clearly being planned as evidenced by voter registration, CEC preparations and official govt. announcements. As editors we are not in the business of speculating on whether or not elections occur because of current instability. We can just update the article with RS on the matter of postponement (and the reasons behind it i.e. ongoing unity talks, factional tensions, mass protests against govt., etc.) --Al Ameer son (talk) 16:13, 16 September 2012 (UTC)
