Although I am having trouble pointing to an exact guideline suggesting this list should be deleted, to me it seems fundamentally unencyclopedic, is not well sourced, and doesn't add any value to Wikipedia. I have also not come across similar pages about any other cities, which although not an argument for deletion in and of itself does make me think that I am probably right in assuming that it is an out of place list. • Delete As an indiscriminate list and collection of wholly, otherwise, non notable events. Ravendrop 06:40, 31 March 2011 (UTC)
  • delete "Indiscriminate" doesn't fit as there are defined and conclusive criteria for inclusion (events, in Houston). On the other hand, non-notable fits to a T here. "over-broad" and "potentially endless" also are issues with this list HominidMachinae (talk) 13:08, 31 March 2011 (UTC)

  • Split, merge and delete Individual venue articles could use the historical material case by case. This title is not encyclopedic as such. --Kleinzach 23:34, 31 March 2011 (UTC)

:I agree, the historical information and any other noteworthy events should be transferred to their own articles, respectively. Once that's done, we could get rid of that article, due to the fact that all that would be left on that page would be those long and unnoteworthy lists of concerts by countless music artists. 96.27.77.81 (talk) 06:27, 1 April 2011 (UTC)
