Projapoti means "Butterfly" in Bengali language.

Pont and Fountain are coaching the Bangladesh Team, hence the ball has been called the "Projapoti" because the players speak Bangladeshi.

The players called it the Projapoti as it is the translation.

It does not get a mention in the articles because they are in English, and would not have a Bengali word in the middle of an English article. Articles that do mention it are completely in Bengali, and will be unreadable to a non Bengali speaker. You would not call the Doosra, its English translation; its a "Doosra" due to the language of the player / location it was created in. Its Wiki page is titled Doosra, not an English translation. The Projapoti was created in Bangladesh by Pont & Fountain, hence the use of Bengali to name it, so the players all understood when it was being spoken about. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Windiescricketfan (talk • contribs) 14:56, 4 April 2011 (UTC)
