Unencyclopaedic essay. A very similar version was reviewed and declined at AfC. Deprodded (possibly by alternate account).
- Delete I think there's an article to be had on this topic, but this isn't it. Would require a fundamental rewrite to be encyclopedic. Nosleep break my slumber 02:46, 23 August 2009 (UTC)
- Delete, per the above comment; an article on this topic would be very interesting and informative, but it's going to need to be sourced, well-written, and neutral; three things that this article isn't. Lankiveil (speak to me) 09:17, 23 August 2009 (UTC).
- Delete It's also similar to something being discussed in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Racism in early 50's rock music. Apparently, there's some misguided schoolteacher out there who is teaching his or her students about Wikipedia, and encouraging them to put their assignments online. Kids, the "F" goes to your teacher for letting students take the heat for his mistake. Mandsford (talk) 16:46, 23 August 2009 (UTC)
- De133t-While it's a neat article, it's unmaintainable, due to the fact that what I think is racism, and you think is racism. Unreferenced, unencyclopedic, and Edit-war bait KMFDM FAN (talk!)

- Delete per the above. See also Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Racism in the early rock music. I challenge these kids' teacher to explain themself! — RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 18:00, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
:No, you explain yourself. How dare you abuse your admin powers to subvert the AfD process and delete all the material in the article and its revision records with an unmandated redirect before the AfD has come to a close? Anarchangel (talk) 17:13, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
- Delete as with the other several near-identical articles... for all the reasons given, but essentially these are very clearly unreferenced original research essays. – Kieran T (talk) 10:58, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
- Delete As I mentioned on a similar AfD, Wikipedia is not a repository for school work. Doc StrangeMailboxLogbook 16:43, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
- Copying my comments from Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Racism in early rock music (2nd nomination):
::Delete as an unsourced essay. The topic is mentioned (with sources) at Rock and roll#Cultural impact and is implicated in both African American music#Mid-20th century (1940s-1960s) and Race records. If the negative impacts of racism within the industry or musical form are sufficiently notable, reliable sources treating the topic should be cited. I note, too, a vague similarity with The decline of rock 'n' roll at the end of the 1950s, which according to its talk page was created as a hoax "to see how long it took to be deleted". I have no evidence that the two articles are related, however. Cnilep (talk) 21:01, 26 August 2009 (UTC)
