fails WP:PROF. bio of a university prof, but there are few sources, and it's impossible to ascertain genuine notability with this cv masquerading as a bio.  Ohc ¡digame! 02:26, 22 September 2014 (UTC)

  • Keep per WP:PROF#C1 (67 is an extremely high h-index for mathematics, generally a low-citation field, and he has many individual very highly cited papers) and #C8 (editor in chief of four journals, all from a respected publisher). See also [http://agarwal2014.uludag.edu.tr/dosyalar/abstract_booklet.pdf]. Nominator should be advised of WP:BEFORE: you're allowed to look outside Wikipedia to ascertain notabilty, but the journal editorships at least were already there in the article. —David Eppstein (talk) 09:07, 22 September 2014 (UTC)
  • Keep. Does appear to be a pretty distinguished academic. -- Necrothesp (talk) 10:13, 22 September 2014 (UTC)

  • Keep. PROF C1 is definitive, but if it weren't, the number of reviews of his books in SIAM Review, American Mathematical Monthly (those are shorter reviews) and American Scientist would reach well exceed WP:AUTHOR. --j⚛e deckertalk 00:13, 30 September 2014 (UTC)
