Weak delete the current article does not meet Wikipedia:Notability (people)#Basic criteria, because of the lack is independent sources, but this issue can probably be resolved, mainly by citing a Wales Online (Western Mail) article that profiles him.[https://www.walesonline.co.uk/whats-on/music/welsh-national-opera-revives-2000-year-3863132] My main concern is notability, judged by the standard in WP:CREATIVE. As far as I can see, Wiegold performs principal solo roles with minor opera companies and supporting solo roles at major opera companies, including at Covent Garden. A Google News search leads to multiple mentions in reviews in major newspapers, but all those I have looked at other than the Wales Online article linked above are only passing mentions or in cast lists. This does not amount to "won significant critical attention", as specified in WP:CREATIVE. Verbcatcher (talk) 00:23, 13 November 2021 (UTC)
