non-notable former National Association player, one of 10 shortstops for the New Haven Elm Citys in 1875 according to [https://www.google.com/books/edition/Players_and_Teams_of_the_National_Associ/-FXR31rzwqMC?hl=en&gbpv=1&dq=Rit+Harrison&pg=PA165&printsec=frontcover here]. Aside from that passing mention and a mention in [https://www.google.com/books/edition/The_Rank_and_File_of_19th_Century_Major/TFNK7be-KGcC?hl=en&gbpv=1&bsq=harrison,%20washington%20ritter%20rit The Rank and File], nothing to confer notability.
