DB page with only two topics, second of which is dubious. Dennis Brown - 2¢ © Join WER 13:41, 8 September 2012 (UTC)
- Delete The second one in the DB page redirects, so I see no reason to keep it, and then by getting rid of it, the DB is no longer necessary. Go Phightins! (talk) 17:00, 8 September 2012 (UTC)

- Keep - the second one does not seem dubious and whilst short it still works as a disambig page. Simply south...... eating shoes for just 6 years 11:24, 9 September 2012 (UTC)
- ::WP:DDD is pretty clear that if you don't have at least 3 good db's, you don't make a db page. Dennis Brown - 2¢ © Join WER 13:46, 9 September 2012 (UTC)
- :::It doesn't say that anywhere on DDD. Simply south...... eating shoes for just 6 years 14:35, 9 September 2012 (UTC)
- ::::Ah, meant WP:TWODABS, which is not an essay, but an actual guideline. Dennis Brown - 2¢ © Join WER 15:04, 9 September 2012 (UTC)
- :::::WP:TWODABS doesn't say that either. When there is no primary topic a disambiguation page with two links is perfectly acceptable. Phil Bridger (talk) 13:53, 10 September 2012 (UTC)
- Keep: 2nd redirects to a page where STRs is an abbrev for an alt name; neither is clearly primary topic; perfectly legitimate and useful dab page. PamD 14:34, 10 September 2012 (UTC)
- Delete and redirect to Microsatellite. The purpose of disambiguation pages is to provide a navigational mechanism where there are too many terms to be accommodated in a hatnote. We must remember that sending someone to a disambiguation page may be an inconvenience to them, an unnecessary extra step to finding what they seek. Here, the use of the term with respect to the broad field of DNA testing should trump the use of the term with respect to a single school. bd2412 T 14:27, 13 September 2012 (UTC)
- Keep. The nom has misunderstood TWODABS, as explained by Phil. Also agree with Pam, no clear primary topic so it's perfectly acceptable to have a dab page with only two entries. Jenks24 (talk) 17:29, 15 September 2012 (UTC)

- Delete. I'm seeing just two uses of STRS at the school's website, nothing else, and Microsatellite is listed in STR - a plural form doesn't count. Clarityfiend (talk) 01:18, 16 September 2012 (UTC)
- Keep Just two uses is acceptable on a disambiguation page where neither is primary. Usage indicates that STRs is used significantly, despite being a plural. See title "What is the difference between Y-DNA STRs" for example. --Bejnar (talk) 08:25, 23 September 2012 (UTC)
- Keep' - Seems a reasonable way to keep people from looking for STRs (short tandem repeats)[http://www.wi.mit.edu/news/archives/2012/ye_0427.html] and instead bringing up the Sir Thomas Rich's School article. There also is Space Telecommunications Radio Standard (STRS)[http://www.nasa.gov/home/hqnews/2012/sep/HQ_12-321_SCAN_Testbed.html] that could be mentioned in Communications satellite or Space Communications and Navigation Program. There also is a State Teachers' Retirement System in California. Might be others within Wikipedia as noted in [http://www.acronymfinder.com/STRS.html acronymfinder.com/STRS]. -- Uzma Gamal (talk) 15:11, 23 September 2012 (UTC)
- Keep - I fixed piping/MOSDAB issues {{done}}, which is irrelevant for DAB AfD reasoning. Seldom used in an article has no weight - two articles use it, and can either have this DAB or hatnote. DAB doesn't hurt. Two entries per WP:TWODABS, MOSDAB. Widefox; talk 16:16, 24 September 2012 (UTC)
- Keep - I added a few uses, so it's no longer just a two-item dab page.--ShelfSkewed Talk 18:16, 24 September 2012 (UTC)
