Non-notable per WP:BIO and WP:ACADEMIC, unreferenced. Per Ardua (talk) 11:45, 27 July 2009 (UTC)

  • I've just removed the section "Journey of Legend" as it appeared to be a copyright infringement of http://www.kshrc.kerala.gov.in/thecommission.htm. However, the same page does provide evidence that he is one of three members of the Kerala State Human Rights Commission. Also http://www.keralauniversity.edu/UniversityCollegeThiruvananthapuram.htm provides evidence that he is (or was until recently?) principal of University College, Kerala University. I'd like to give the creator a little more time to clarify the copyright position or expand the article and add references before I'd wish to voice an opinion on whether it should be deleted. • Conditional Delete - If the original author can change this article substantially, then we should keep, but as it stands now the article meets the AfD conditions outlined by Per Ardua. Frmatt (talk) 08:47, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
  • Keep - The copyrighted text (WP:COPYVIO) seems be removed now, and he is a member of Kerala State Human Rights Commission, and a former principal University College, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala University, notable enough to have an article [http://www.hindu.com/2005/09/05/stories/2005090509680400.htm news story], though still a stub! Informing WP:KERALA might help, Kerala stub tag added though. --Ekabhishek (talk) 11:06, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
  • Keep - Decide about to remove or keep so that i can do further editing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jazjohn (talkcontribs)
  • Delete. The article seems to hinge equally on his academic standing. However, he does not demonstrate notability here, quoting from the article: "He has published three papers on ‘Thin Films’ in International Science Journals" – this is a country mile from satisfying WP:PROF #1, which the article's own content suggests should be applicable. Article still has lots of WP:POV too, e.g. titling a section Academic Excellence. Respectfully, Agricola44 (talk) 18:34, 30 July 2009 (UTC).
  • Weak delete. I am pretty sure he doesn't pass WP:PROF: according to University of Kerala there are 81 colleges within that university, so being head of one is more of a dean-level position than a university president level, not enough for WP:PROF #6, and we don't have any evidence of his research making a big impact. What I'm less sure of is whether membership on a state-level commission should be enough, but I'm leaning towards the position that it isn't. —David Eppstein (talk) 21:06, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
  • Delete. I don't think it is either. Xxanthippe (talk) 06:53, 3 August 2009 (UTC).
