Fails WP:POLITICIAN as a local figure with no wider impact. Previous WP:PROD was removed; editor updated the link in the article but did not address the notability concern. Pburka (talk) 17:08, 23 April 2011 (UTC)

Delete Local press coverage is routine and as can be expected for a county councilman. Office is not high enough for notability to be presumed. No indication that he is a regionally important political figure. Cullen328 (talk) 18:54, 23 April 2011 (UTC)
Delete per precedent. In the past here at AfD, county legislators, supervisors, councilmen, and the like are almost never kept, especially for suburban or rural counties. Bearian (talk) 20:58, 25 April 2011 (UTC)
