Fails WP:BLP1E and possibly WP:NBIO.

Per BLP1E (1): Sources only cover the subject when mentioning the award.

BLP1E (2): The subject is a student, and "otherwise remains, and is likely to remain, a low-profile individual."

I also have concerns regarding the notability of the award itself, which I could not find any information for online, except in the context of the subject winning it. If the award itself is not significant, then the subject would fail WP:NBIO as well. Yeeno (talk) 🍁 03:14, 16 June 2021 (UTC)

  • Delete per nom. A few cookie-cutter human-interest stories about a young author are not sufficient to meet GNG. The Global Reader’s Choice Award does not appear to be significant award, so NBIO is not met. I could not find any reviews of his works online besides this [https://kashmirreader.com/2021/03/01/triggered-sorrows-by-saraf-ali-bhat-a-review/ guest-authored post] from the Kashmir Reader. He may become notable in the future but right now it is too soon for an article. – Lord Bolingbroke (talk) 05:47, 16 June 2021 (UTC)
  • Delete fails WP:GNG uncontroversially. Best Alexandermcnabb (talk) 09:47, 16 June 2021 (UTC)
  • Delete fails every flavour of notability, bar none. And regarding the award, I think it's quite telling that when you try to google that, you mainly get this chap coming up. --DoubleGrazing (talk) 10:35, 16 June 2021 (UTC)
