• Delete, no evidence of passing WP:PROF. Assistant professor with a record that does not stand out among other assistant professors; few citations in Google scholar. Actually holding an NSERC chair might be grounds for keeping, but being "associated with" one is not. —David Eppstein (talk) 15:06, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
• Delete Assistant professor, was not a good choice for the ARS to attempt rescue. I see no actual evidence of holding a named chair: associated apparently means that one of the full professors in the department holds it, Attahiru Alfa--who might well qualify for an article.
