- Delete no awards or notable events found from GSearch and GNews Search. Strongest ref that I found from the archives just talks about their band's debut [https://books.google.com.ph/books?id=ipkVAAAAIBAJ&pg=PA28 album launch] together with nine other promising bands back in 1996. --Lenticel (talk) 01:53, 23 March 2025 (UTC)
- Weak delete - the Allmusic article is reliable, but that's it. If you find two more reliable sources, ping me. (Note: the band's name could be a pun: lola in Filipino means 'grandmother' but also in slang means 'older gay platonic friend' - similar to auntie in United States LGBT slang. Thus, their name could equally refer to their grandmother's bottle of shampoo, or the sassy older gay hairdresser who's the maritess spilling tea.) Bearian (talk) 03:27, 23 March 2025 (UTC)
::Per the article I've linked, it's actually because they spotted a diner called Sopas ni Lola (Grandma's Noddle Soup) and then saw a shampoo commercial. They then mixed the two together and got the band's name. --Lenticel (talk) 04:21, 23 March 2025 (UTC)
