Declined speedy delete and two sources were added to article, although both are trivial mentions. Articles about this band have previously been deleted 4 times at the page The Slow Readers Club, of which 3 times were a speedy delete and once was at: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Slow Readers Club (editor responsible for this page has recreated it twice, and looks like editor has some connection to a label, based on edits). There are trivial mentions online but no substantial coverage in reliable sources. FuriouslySerene (talk) 19:03, 12 February 2016 (UTC)

  • Delete at best as none of this suggests a better article for the applicable notability. SwisterTwister talk 22:12, 12 February 2016 (UTC)
  • Keep. The article is very lacking, but enough coverage exists, e.g. [http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/entertainment/music/14139298.The_Slow_Readers_Club_on_doom_pop__Cavalcade_and_why_Glasgow_feels_like_home/], [http://louderthanwar.com/the-slow-readers-club-sheffield-corporation-live-review/], [http://louderthanwar.com/the-slow-readers-club-manchester-night-and-day-live-review/]. --Michig (talk) 11:01, 13 February 2016 (UTC)

:*One is the local newspaper, the other two come from the same site, louderthanwar.com, which appears to be a not well-known music blog with unclear editorial standards, which may not be a WP:RS. I'm not sure that's sufficient to meet WP:GNG in terms of substantial coverage. FuriouslySerene (talk) 15:29, 26 February 2016 (UTC)

::*What exactly does 'the local newspaper' mean? The Evening Times is a newspaper published in Glasgow, the band are from Manchester. Every paper is local to somewhere, but this one is not local to the band. louderthanwar.com is not a blog. It's a music website with a professional staff led by the well known and respected music writer John Robb which also has an associated print magazine which is carried by major newsagents in the UK. --Michig (talk) 15:49, 26 February 2016 (UTC)

  • Keep per Michig. We have a low bar for pop culture, our comprehensiveness is what users seek. Narrow GNG pass. Carrite (talk) 18:57, 18 February 2016 (UTC)
