- Keep passes WP:NAUTHOR. ─ The Aafī (talk) 17:36, 30 October 2020 (UTC)
- :Her work Leaves of Narcissus, 22 editions of which are held by 419 WorldCat member libraries worldwidehttps://www.worldcat.org/identities/lccn-no96036376/, is a subject of full research article, [https://www.jstor.org/stable/1350064 Writing and Being: A Reading of Somaya Ramadan's Leaves of Narcissus] by Muhammad Birairi . This is also a subject of a Master of Arts thesis, [https://laur.lau.edu.lb:8443/xmlui/handle/10725/1041?show=full Ramadan's Leaves through Dali's mirror of Narcissus] at the Lebanese American University. This indicates notability. I don't know how can she be non-notable despite all this? ─ The Aafī (talk) 21:46, 30 October 2020 (UTC)

- Keep: as per The Aafī's comments. It passes WP:NAUTHOR and her work is popular. — The Chunky urf Al Kashmiri (Speak🗣️ or Write✍️)
- Keep The sources in the article indicate that her work has been the subject of independent critical and scholarly review. She has also won a major literary prize. There are other references to her in news pieces, not cited in the article, because she is one of a very few public figures in Egypt who speaks about the Baha’i faith, which has faced suppression in the country. - Keep as Arabic native speaker I search in google (In Arabic), and I find she won Naguib Mahfouz Medal for Literature 2001 ([https://www.albayan.ae/five-senses/2001-12-13-1.1130660 source]) and it's a high and very important and famous literary award in Arab world, and I think this is enough for notability --Ibrahim.ID ✪ 14:37, 17 November 2020 (UTC)
