This article like the now deleted Northwestern European people, is a colossal synth mish mash of sources that don't substantiate the central claim of the article, that "Southern Europeans" have been recognised as a pan-ethnic group. Hemiauchenia (talk) 00:46, 11 March 2021 (UTC)

• Delete, same as my comments in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Northwestern European people. Just random article salad that have "Southern European people" in it, without any regards to the existence of the pan-ethnic group. SunDawn (talk) 01:44, 11 March 2021 (UTC)
• Delete, article is one giant WP:OR minefield, even the lead essentially admits that this is a made up concept. Devonian Wombat (talk) 09:44, 13 March 2021 (UTC)
• Delete per WP:SYNTH. Every random, online mention of "southern European" or "south European" seems to be dumped here. I would not oppose a very selective merge to Mediterranean people. Bearian (talk) 15:54, 17 March 2021 (UTC)
